At Texas Spine & Neurosurgery, our goal is to make your visit as smooth and efficient as possible. Below you’ll find important information regarding scheduling, what to bring, insurance, confidentiality, and prescription policies.
Appointments
Patients are seen by appointments only. Please call the Texas Spine & Neurosurgery Center at 281-313-0031 to schedule an appointment or fill out our contact form. While we typically receive physician referrals, we also accept self-referrals for second opinions or if you have a known neurosurgical condition and wish to be evaluated by Dr. Rajesh Bindal.
What to Bring to Your Appointment
Please bring the following items to your scheduled appointment:
- Insurance card
- MRI or CT scan – Please bring the actual printed films AND the paper report. We do not accept CDs.
- List of current medications
- Referring physician’s name, address, phone, and fax number
- Referral authorization, if required by your insurance plan

Insurance
We accept most:
- Commercial insurance plans
- Medicare
- Texas and Federal Workers’ Compensation
Please bring your insurance card and be prepared to provide your co-pay at the time of your visit. Our staff will assist with submitting claims to your primary insurance carrier.
Please note: We do not accept letters of protection.
Authorizations
Patients are responsible for confirming whether services are covered by their insurance plan. You may need to call your insurance company before your appointment to determine pre-authorization requirements.
Confidentiality
We treat your medical records with the highest level of confidentiality. Records will only be released with your written authorization. We do not share information about your care with anyone—including family members—unless you have granted explicit permission.
Prescriptions
Prescription Refills
- Available Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
- Please request at least two days before your medication runs out
- No prescription refills are processed after hours or on weekends
