Bindal (I prefer not to use Dr)changed our lives for the worse forever, Truly wish we had never heard of him Or trusted his skills as a surgeon . He did a botched surgery on my husbands C5 and C6 disc replacement. Check in and out the same day. Was blasé about the surgery and over confifdent. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. My husband landed up in the ER for 9 days post surgery with no end of non stop issues that are continuing after 2 years.(He couldn’t care less once the surgery was done ) We have visited 8 of Houston’s top Neurologists and Neurosurgeons for his severe complications.(Unfortunately it was too late as I should have done my research PRE surgery) They ALL stated the disc was larger than required . Instead of a disc replacement a fusion should have been done . He should have gone through a sizing process which he did not do . I do not mind that he is bombastic and over confident “ if “ his work was stellar . WORST experience ever. Wish we had NEVER let him operate on my husband . As a family we live with this ill health and daily excruciating pain every single day .

Dr Bindal himself is a good doctor, however, this office has an issue with the appointment. If you have an appointment, expect like 3 hours long because nothing is moving around here. My wife had her neck surgery on May, she still in a lot of pain and couldn't do full time on her job, especially her job requires standing and physical work. So we asked if the office can help us fill out the form from Texas HHS so she can apply for a short term benefit. This is also time sensitive ( meaning I have to return to them on time ) I explained to them, the nurse Jessica called me back saying they never fill anything like this before. I explained to her that we need short term disability, and we need her to fill that out. She said will check back with me but never did ,I had to call her back and she said that my wife needs to be seen before she can fill the form( one week late on the due date) . I had to call 211 for 2 hours wait to see if they can give her some extension. Now we are at the office, arrived like 1 hour before and still waiting. I told the front desk that we have a funeral visit but still waiting..so dr Bindal if you see this, please fix the issue. I don't know what it is but we all have things to do and that what appointment for .I don’t want to be mean but this is ridiculous because they would let you wait and don't even want to let you know why.. maybe this is my last time to this office

I chose Dr. Bindal for my back surgery about 3 months ago and I am very pleased with the outcome so far. I was in serious pain daily and doing simple chores was very difficult. The Doctor and his P. A. Took very good care of me before and after surgery. They were very responsive in addressing any questions or concerns I had. He even took the time to meet my kids and reassure them that I would be okay. My problem was lower back and sciatic nerve down left leg. I highly recommend a consultation with him before you make a decision on surgery.

If you would like to wait an hour to 90 minutes minimum, then be belittled and spoken down to by your doctor’s staff, by all means, book an appointment. Just make sure you don’t have anything else pressing to do that day!

For my first appointment, I came to see Dr. Bindal to suite 285 at 2pm. After 1 hour and 20 mins of waiting on a seat, I talked to the front desk lady to ask what's taking so long. She lied to me that Dr. Bindal is doing surgeries today, in fact Dr. Bindal was seeing patients. I was upset with the unprofessional attitude and I had to request cancelling the appointment and got refunded. The sad thing is that they did not even apologize for the wait. I am looking for another neurosurgeon.

I felt like I was in very capable hands.

I tried all the less invasive remedies for my Sciatica. (McKinsey exercise, lifestyle change, physical therapy, etc.) I could not stand or walk for 25 minutes continually. I got an MRI and I tried steroid injections which worked,...for three days. It was time for a microdiscectomy. Dr. Bindle, and his staff, were extremely confident this would remedy my situation. Here I am, one year later, and I am 100%. Do not get me wrong the surgery is not for the faint of heart, as the recovery is quite painful. Aspirin, ibuprofen, and Motrin are not enough to dent the post surgery pain (ask me how I know that!) It takes about two weeks before you can get around without pain. After a month, I was moving normally and after three months I was exercising again. Dr. Bindle, and his staff, were a joy to me. I know there were some negative reviews here, I can only relate my experience which was superior.

I saw Dr. Bindal for a second opinion. I came in with all testing, MRI, physical therapy, mylogram completed. His assistant Jessica spent time with me understanding how I had got to where I was and why other doctors were recommending another surgery. He took time with me, reviewed my case in detail and recommended surgery. Jessica and team made the surgery scheduling and pre op testing go as smooth as possible. I only saw Dr. Bindal twice but love how him and Jessica work in tandem with the cases. I highly recommend their office.
