Dr. Rajesh Bindal is a highly respected, board-certified neurosurgeon based in Sugar Land, Texas, with over two decades of experience in advanced brain and spine surgery. He is widely recognized for his expertise in minimally invasive spine surgery and cervical artificial disc replacement, and is considered one of the most experienced neurosurgeons in the state of Texas in these fields.

Education and Early Career

Dr. Bindal completed both his undergraduate and medical degrees at Northwestern University in Chicago through the university’s prestigious Honors Program in Medical Education. During medical school, he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, a national honor recognizing academic excellence in medicine.

He went on to complete a rigorous six-year residency in Neurological Surgery, where he trained in the full spectrum of cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures.

Practice and Community Leadership in Fort Bend County

After completing his training, Dr. Bindal returned to his hometown in the Houston area and began private practice in 2001 at the Texas Medical Center. In 2005, he relocated his practice to Sugar Land, Texas, where he established the first full-time neurosurgical practice in Fort Bend County.

He played a foundational role in developing advanced neurosurgical services in the region:
